Well, after months of tests, specialists, and hospital stays, they STILL have no clear idea whats wrong with me. I’ve had every test they could think of. I’ve seen every specialist they could think of. ARRGHHH!!!! I am on Morphine for pain control, every 4 hours. The general consensus now seems to be that, by exclusion, it must be mechanical back pain. Probably caused during pregnany. As a result of that, the whole nerve system through my back, abdomen and pelvis is in a real mess, hence all the strange symptoms. I’m getting acupuncture, neural therapy, physiotherapy and massage therapy. They want to try steroid shots into my spine, they can work miracles, but unfortunately the waiting list for the pain clinic is 6 MONTHS!!!!

Scott had to take 5 weeks off work to take care of Madeline. He’s back at work now, his mom has been staying with us instead. Fuck I hate not being able to take care of my child. And I’m missing the summer.

In other news, I’m so excited about this, I’ve started an online bookstore! I would love to have a bricks and mortar bookstore, but I don’t have the money to start one up, so I just got all set up online. I’ve got a few collections of old books, and I’ve been appraising them and cataloguing them. I’ve listed on a bookselling service, www.abebooks.com. I’ve done a ton of research, and a LOT of people make their living just selling books online.

I want my own website though! Anyone know how I could get a professional site with a shopping cart etc for a good price?

This is ideal for me, because now I can stay home with Madeline, AND work with something I adore. And I can save up money from online sales to open a bricks and mortar shop in the future. I’ll be in my glory.
